Machinery success in Print China 2011
STS Folder Gluers and Die Cutter are big hit for SBL UK and STS Machinery Co., Ltd at Print China 2011, held in Guangdong China. The STS space stood with its proverbial chest puffed out, showing the latest developments from the Chinese based factory. And the buzz centred on the latest models of High Speed Folding and Gluing machines, the STS-650FC and the STS-800FCV with plasma treatment and showing the internationally popular STS-1050SE automatic die cutting machine with the latest stripping make ready table.
With over 100,000m2 show area and over 1000 exhibitors presenting the latest technologies to offer times saving, profitable and efficient production capabilities, the expected 160,000 visitors would have plenty to see and discuss. The 5 day event showed why China is such an important market in the world. As expected the audience had high levels of Chinese visitors. But the event could also boast of very high levels of European, Middle Eastern, Asian and Indian sub-continent visitors making the event the ideal showcase for 2011.
Both the STS-650FC and the STS-800FCV attracted much attention, with higher levels of enquiries and confirmed orders than expected being generated. Both models offer high speeds on lock bottom folding and gluing and 4 and 6 corner being handled on the 800FCV. Demonstrations attracted audiences that any machine premier would be proud to achieve, with eyes focusing on the quality of finished blanks at the speeds obtained. Visitor also gathered to see the plasma treatment in action. Showing that STS folder gluers not only glue basic blanks, but could handle even the most difficulty varnished products without breaking a sweat.
Also continuing to set standards in the packaging field, the STS-1050SE brought many viewers to the scheduled demonstrations. With its impressive 7500 sheets/hr machine speed and the easy to use operator controls, the already massively successful die cutter continued to attract new admirers. Displaying highly productive capabilities with impressive demonstrations and sitting alongside its stripping make ready table, the STS die cutter not only attracted many enquiries, it also successfully attained large numbers of confirmed orders.
