Loxleys complete 3 Peak Challenge

We would like to congratulate the dedicated team of ten from Loxleys for successfully completing the gruelling Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge.  The climb in aid of The Sheffield Children’s Hospital was completed in 11hours and 40minutes, and covered the 24 miles of the 3 highest peaks in Yorkshire.  Their endeavours including £1000 from SBL UK helped them to raise a massive £2400 for a charity which is close to their hearts.

The climb took them up a combined height of 7000 feet.  And although I am sure that tired legs and feet made the task difficult, the joy of combing the beautiful surroundings of the peaks Pen Y Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough while helping such a worthy charity, would make it all worthwhile. Tony Lorriman, Commercial Director said “It is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved, a really hard challenge but everyone has thoroughly enjoyed it and raising money for charity is the icing on top of the cake”.
